ALL ABOARD THE WOODEN BUS! Learn all the woodwork basics in a single session. This 1.5-hours fun workshop is a great follow-up session after completing our "Wooden Block Houses" and "Wooden Camera" starter projects. Children engage in measuring and marking wood, sawing, drilling, joining and adjusting moving parts, and sanding. It is a fast-track opportunity for kids to learn about tools, techniques, and safety. - All tools, materials, and safety gear provided, - Children get to keep their wooden creations, - Suitable for boys & girls age 5-12, - Parents are welcome to stay. DURATION: approx. 1.5 hours, CLASS SIZE: up to 6 children only, PROJECT: a Wooden Bus toy, SKILLS TO LEARN: measuring, drawing, clamping, sawing, drilling, joining wood, and sanding. TOOLS USED: carpenter's pencil, quick square, wood clamps, pull-saw, hand drill, screwdrivers, and hardware, sanding blocks, and various grits of sanding paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 min before the session starts to ensure children receive the necessary instructions and briefing from the Instructor. SAFETY: Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times during woodworking classes. Due to Health & Safety regulations, children not wearing closed-toe shoes will not be permitted to take part in a woodworking class.
