Workshop Overview
AGE LIMIT: 8+. Younger children cannot participate. Welcome to TOYMAKER's 'Make a Wooden Birdfeeder' kids woodworking workshop! Craft your own bird feeder and invite the delightful company of wild birds into your garden. In this 2-hour session, children not only acquire valuable DIY skills but also create a hub of avian activity for the whole family to enjoy. We even provide Seed Mix to kickstart the birdwatching experience. Throughout the project, children will master the art of joining wooden elements, constructing a 3-dimensional, functional feeder. This class encompasses symmetry, gluing, drilling, hammering, hinge installation, and more. Join us for a creative and educational session, where woodworking and craft skills come to life. Limited to 8 children for a personalized experience. Holiday sessions are available! AGE LIMIT: 8-12 DURATION: Approx. 1.5 hours. CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS COVERED: Creating Objects with Even or Balanced Shapes, Clamping, Drilling, Joinery, and Surface Finishing. TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Untreated Pine Wood, Clamps, Awl, Hand Drill, Hammer and Nails, Screwdrivers and Selection of Hardware, Sanding Blocks, and Various Grits of Sanding Paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the Instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: 1 parent is welcome to stay but should not take part in the activities.
Cancellation Policy
Confirmed bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, the spot is reserved exclusively for your child and cannot be allocated to others. Therefore, refunds are not applicable. Please note that if your child is unable to attend the workshop, credits or make-up classes will not be provided. Additionally, bookings cannot be transferred to future sessions or to other participants.
