AGE LIMIT 8+. Younger children cannot participate. Welcome to TOYMAKER's Craft a Wooden Bug House kids' woodworking workshop! Embrace the world of bugs with this engaging experience. Bugs, though sometimes misunderstood, play a vital role in our ecosystem. A bug house in the garden opens doors to lessons about habitats, ecosystems, and food chains. This workshop not only imparts important DIY skills but also encourages the exchange of insect knowledge among like-minded kids. Over 2 hours, children will laminate panels, drill pilot holes, hammer nails, install a hinge, attach a hanger, and craft a simple door latch. Join us for a fun and educational session, where woodworking and craft skills take center stage. Limited to 8 children for a personalized experience. Holiday sessions are available! AGE LIMIT: 8-12 DURATION: Approx. 1.5 hours. CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS COVERED: Gluing, Clamping, Drilling, Countersinking, Joinery, and Surface Finishing TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Untreated Pine Wood, Clamps, Awl, Hand Drill, Hammer and Nails, Screwdrivers, Selection of Hardware, Sanding Blocks, Wood Files and Various Grits of Sanding Paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the Instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: 1 parent is welcome to stay but should not take part in the activities.
Cancellation Policy
Confirmed bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, the spot is reserved exclusively for your child and cannot be allocated to others. Therefore, refunds are not applicable. Please note that if your child is unable to attend the workshop, credits or make-up classes will not be provided. Additionally, bookings cannot be transferred to future sessions or to other participants.
