Workshop Overview
LEARN TO SAW AND DRILL WOOD IN A SINGLE WORKSHOP! Book today to make a cool wooden cat to play with or to decorate your room. This 1.5-hour fun workshop offers a great introduction to woodwork. Children learn to measure, draw, saw, drill, and sand wood. It is a fast-track opportunity for kids to learn about tools, techniques, and safety as they complete a simple project. - All tools, materials, and safety gear provided, - Children get to keep their wooden creations, - Suitable for boys & girls age 5-12, - Parents are welcome to stay. DURATION: approx. 1.5 hours, CLASS SIZE: up to 6 children only, PROJECT: a Wooden Cat toy, SKILLS TO LEARN: measuring, drawing, clamping, sawing, drilling and sanding wood, TOOLS USED: carpenter's pencil, quick square, wood clamps, pull saw, saw guide, hand drill, sanding blocks, and various grits of sanding paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 min before the session starts to ensure children receive the necessary instructions and briefing from the Instructor. SAFETY: Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times during woodworking classes. Due to Health & Safety regulations, children not wearing closed-toe shoes will not be permitted to take part in a woodworking class.
