Workshop Overview
Craft Wooden Puppet Birds with friends on your birthday! Celebrate with friends in a fun, hands-on 1.5-hour workshop where kids bring their very own puppet bird to life. Using real tools, they’ll learn woodworking basics - drilling, sanding, and simple joinery - as they build from scratch. Step by step, each puppet bird takes shape, and by the end of the session every child will complete and take home a ready-to-play puppet bird they crafted themselves. It’s an exciting, skill-building experience that sparks creativity, confidence, and imagination. Perfect activity for a birthday party, homeschool groups, or a fun get-together with friends - and best of all, we bring the workshop to you! Available throughout the Wellington Region. This project is designed for 6-10 year olds. It is not suitable for younger children. SERVICE DETAILS: - The fee covers up to 8 children, with a minimum age of 6. - Children below the age limit may not participate. - Participants craft one toy each. - Closed-toe shoes are mandatory throughout the workshop. - Host must obtain parental/guardian consent for participants. - Venue hire not included. - Rural locations may incur additional travel fees. - The Fee is non-refundable.
