MEET THE TOYMAKER'S DOG! In this extra fun, 1.5-hours class, children learn basic wood-joining techniques while making super cool wooden dogs. In this workshop, we focus on measuring, drilling, joining moving parts together with dowels and hardware, and sanding. This workshop is best suited for children with some experience in woodwork/crafts. For younger children or complete beginners, we recommend our "Make Wooden Block Houses" or "Make a Wooden Camera" projects. - All tools, materials, and safety gear provided, - Children get to keep their wooden creations, - Suitable for boys & girls age 6-12, - Parents are welcome to stay. DURATION: approx. 1.5 hours, CLASS SIZE: up to 6 children only, PROJECT: a Wooden Dog toy, SKILLS TO LEARN: measuring, clamping, drilling, joining moving parts, and sanding. TOOLS USED: bradawl, wood clamps, hand drill, hammer, screwdrivers, sanding blocks, and various grits of sanding paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 min before the session starts to ensure children receive the necessary instructions and briefing from the Instructor. SAFETY: Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times during woodworking classes. Due to Health & Safety regulations, children not wearing closed-toe shoes will not be permitted to take part in a woodworking class.
