Workshop Overview
AGE LIMIT 8+. Younger children cannot participate. Experience the nostalgia of old-school model-making with TOYMAKER's 'Make a Wooden Helicopter' kids woodworking workshop. In this 2-hour class, children are introduced to the art of traditional model-making. They will delve into measuring, creating symmetrical objects, understanding proportion and balance, mastering precision drilling, honing surface finishing, and learning various woodworking techniques. Join us for an engaging school holiday session that sparks creativity and craftsmanship! AGE LIMIT: 8-12 DURATION: Approx. 2 hours. CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS COVERED: Measuring, Creating Objects with Even or Balanced Shapes, Clamping, Precision Drilling, Joinery, and Surface Finishing. TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Untreated Pine Wood, Carpenter's Pencil, Quick Square, Awl, Wood Clamps, Hand Drill, Screwdrivers, Wrench and Hardware, Wood Glue, Sanding Blocks, Wood Files, and Various Grits of Sanding Paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the Instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: 1 parent is welcome to stay but should not take part in the activities.

Confirmed bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once booked, the spot is reserved exclusively for your child and cannot be allocated to others. Therefore, refunds are not applicable. Please note that if your child is unable to attend the workshop, credits or make-up classes will not be provided. Additionally, bookings cannot be transferred to future sessions or to other participants.
