Workshop Overview
Master the Art of Woodworking! Craft a collection of 3 wooden houses for play or home decoration. This one-hour workshop provides an excellent initiation to woodworking. Kids will gain hands-on experience in measuring, drawing, sawing, and sanding wood. It's a swift path for children to grasp essential tools, techniques, and safety practices while accomplishing a straightforward project. All tools, materials, and safety gear are provided, and children get to keep their wooden creations. AGE LIMIT: 6-10 DURATION: Approx. 1 hour, CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS TO LEARN: Measuring, Drawing, Clamping, Cross-Cutting, Surface Finishing, and Gluing. TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Untreated Pine Wood, Carpenter's Pencil, Quick Square, Wood Clamps, Pull Saw, Saw Guide, Sanding Blocks, Various Grits of Sanding Paper, and Wood Glue. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the Instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: 1 parent may stay, but cannot join the activities.
