Delve into the intricacies of fine joinery, explore the principles of geometry, and master the art of precision model-making. This workshop promises a challenging yet rewarding endeavour for young artisans and aspiring engineers. All tools, materials, and safety gear are provided, and children get to keep their wooden creations. AGE LIMIT: 8-12 DURATION: Approx. 2 hours. CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS COVERED: Measuring, Clamping, Sawing, Precision Drilling, Surface Finishing, and Joinery. TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Untreated Pine Wood, Pull Saw, Sawing Guide, Awl, Hand Drill, Hammer/Mallet/Dowels, Sanding Blocks, Files, Various Grits of Sanding Paper, Wood Glue, Screwdrivers, Spanners, Wrenches, and Hardware. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the Instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: 1 parent is welcome to stay but should not take part in the activities.
