Workshop Overview

THIS WORKSHOP WILL CATAPULT YOU TO A HIGHER LEVEL! Make your own wooden stomp catapult and test your aiming skills with a beanbag or a tennis ball (not included). This 1-hour workshop gives children an opportunity to learn to saw, glue, drill, hammer, and sand wood. - All tools, materials, and safety gear provided, - Children get to keep their wooden creations, - Suitable for boys & girls age 5-12, DURATION: approx. 1 hour, CLASS SIZE: up to 6 children only, PROJECT: a Wooden Stomp Catapult toy, SKILLS TO LEARN: clamping, drilling, joining, sanding. TOOLS USED: clamps, awl, hand drill, hammer and nails, sanding blocks, and various grits of sanding paper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 min before the session starts to ensure children receive the necessary instructions and briefing from the Instructor. SAFETY: Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times during woodworking classes. Due to Health & Safety regulations, children not wearing closed-toe shoes will not be permitted to take part in a woodworking class.
