Workshop Overview
Join our exciting kids' holiday program in Wellington, where children aged 6–10 will dive into the world of woodworking by building their very own wooden T-Rex dinosaur! In this hands-on 1.5-hour session, kids will learn basic joinery techniques using real tools in a safe and supportive environment. Each child will complete their dinosaur during the workshop and take home a ready-to-play toy they crafted themselves. With only 8 spots available per session, this small-group experience ensures personal guidance and plenty of creative fun. Please note, the minimum age is 6 years - due to the tools and techniques involved, younger children cannot participate and refunds will not be issued in such cases. Spaces fill fast, so book now to secure your child’s place in this unique and engaging holiday activity! AGE LIMIT: 6-10 DURATION: Approx. 1.5 hour. CLASS SIZE: Limited to 8 Children. SKILLS COVERED: Measuring, clamping, sawing, drilling, gluing, hammering, joinery, and surface finishing. TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Tools & Materials Used: Untreated pine wood, awl, clamps, pull saw, hand drill, wood glue, mallet, screwdrivers, sanding blocks, various grits of sandpaper. ATTENDANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes early for important instructions from the instructor. SAFETY REQUIREMENT: Wear closed-toe shoes for safety. Children without them cannot participate. ACCOMPANYING PARENT: One parent is welcome to stay, but please note that parents are not permitted to take part in the activities.

Please note that if your child is unable to attend the workshop, credits or make-up classes will not be provided. Additionally, bookings cannot be transferred to future sessions or to other participants.
